Kayaking on Syapsya and Shuya rivers
SUMMER
7-day water tour

Tour duration: 7 days/ 6 nights

  • This tour is for those who want to feel like a captain of a real vessel;
  • The selected rivers are truly meant for kayaking;
  • Gradual increase of the route challenges will give you a chance to show your best skills as a paddler
  • This is an advanced paddler trip

During the tour the participants collect firewood, put up tents and help cooking over a fire under the instructor's supervision.

Itinerary:

 

Day 1

Group meets at the train station, transfer to the starting point (60 km). Preparation of equipment for kayaking. Safety instructions. Kayaking (distance 4 km). Lunch and supper in the field. Overnight in tents.

 

Days 2-6

Rafting area: Syapsya river – Vagatozero Lake – Shuya river – Saivozhporog Rapids (10 rapids, Class II – III). Total distance to paddle - 85 km. Meals and overnight in the field.

 

Day 7

Breakfast by campfire. Rafting area: Saivozhporog Rapids – Vidany village (12 km). Lunch by campfire. 15.00 - departure to Petrozavodsk. Free time. Transfer to the train station.


Price includes:

3 meals a day, equipment (two person kayaks, life vests, campfire equipment, two and three person tents, sleeping bags, etc.), transfers according to itinerary, instruction, health insurance
