Ancient volcanoes of Karelia

Route: Petrozavodsk - Shuyskaya train station - Tzarevitchi - Sampo mountain- "Martian waters" health center - Girvas volcano - Kivatch waterfall - Petrozavodsk

This bus tour explores geological history of the region, which started three billion years ago. During the tour you will learn the geography and chronology of volcano paroxysms and visit Girvas volcano, one of the most unique and well-preserved ancient volcanoes of Europe.
