Itinerary:The 1st variant:
1 day
- Arrival in Petrozavodsk. Breakfast in café.
- Bus city tour along Petrozavodsk. Visit of the private art gallery “The Doll’s House” of Tatyana Kalinina (unique exhibition “The house spirits of Kizhi”). Hotel accommodation.
- The historical excursion “Charm of principal city of a province”. Visit of smithy.
- Visit of visitor centre of culture preserve “Kizhi”, excursion “Soiree. House amusement of townspeople”.
2 day
- Breakfast.
- Transfer to the port. Mini-cruise along the Onego Lake. Debarkation, excursion “The Legends of Salmi-strait”. Visit of Botanical garden, nature monument “Devil chair”. Return to Petrozavodsk.
3 day
- Breakfast.
- Departure to Kizhi Island by hydrofoil (travel time: 80 min). Kizhi is an island on the Onego Lake in the Karelia Republic with an ensemble of wooden churches and houses. You will have an opportunity to see the unique masterpieces of national wooden architecture which is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- Return to Petrozavodsk.
4 day
- Breakfast. Room vacation.
- Excursion to Kivatch nature preserve (Kivatch waterfall).
- Transfer to Shuya. Visit of the karelian cultural centre. Folk live-action programme according to epos “Kalevela” and amusing competitions. Supper with karelian meals and drinks. Karelian music, songs and dances.
- Return to Petrozavodsk. Transfer to the train station. Departure.
